I am a contemporary functional basketmaker. I use mainly willow but also other traditional and modern materials to make organic forms and flowing shapes. I am particularly interested in using traditional basketmaking techniques with recycled materials. I take commissions for individually designed baskets, plant supports, garden structures and basketry repairs and also do chairseating with cane, rush and willow and repairs to cane furniture. I give individual and class tuition and give talks and demonstrations.
