| Focusing on the flower, being fascinated by its DNA as it creates blossoming, beautiful, vibrant colours, I attempt to capture the attitude of the subject, building a relationship as I work, manipulating the boundaries of the canvas through form, texture and an intense study of colour, while developing the personality of each flower, whether this is the independent Gerbera, the more sensitive Daisy or the slightly bohemian Dandelion.
