The seaside, beach, buildings and graphics are a constant source of inspiration for my acrylic paintings. My work is bright and realistic; I like it to jump out at the viewer using strong contrasts of shadow and light. I aim to capture elements of British 'beach life'; children playing, people relaxing. . . . often an uncertain cloud approaching. I hope my paintings evoke happy memories or ideals for the future.
