As a painter I am concerned with 'landscape' and the memory of emotions; colour and the ground between the figurative and the abstract. The work is about colour, space, light and emotional feelings, in response to a variety of experiences, poetry, music, dance and life. I start with feeling and embark on a journey, but the action or process of painting (when successful) leads to discovery.
