Some unusual techniques in mixed media involving watercolour, acrylic, machine stitching, sometimes collage or applique, and mostly on natural fabrics. All can be combined to obtain powerful images and rich detail. Pat is currently into the impact of light on textures as varied as brick, stone, water, vegetation or a complete landscape. She also continues to paint figure studies from life.
