I trained in display at Portsmouth College of Art and now spend most days painting. I work mostly in watercolour and exhibit widely throughout the area. My studio is a recent addition to my cottage. Inspiration comes from a variety of subjects including local scenes, still life studies and life drawing.

I am known locally for my paintings of birds and farm animals including my own gaggle of geese and very often work to commissions. Inspiration comes from local scenes, farm animals and my own gaggle of geese. I also enjoy still-life and wild life studies. My favourite subjects are animals - trying to capture the essence of them with attention to detail in skin, hair and feather.
