Sally's work is project based, sometimes projects running consecutively or along side each other over a period of time, which can be for several years.
She has worked from specimens at the Anatomy labs UCL that led to several exhibitions of work in London, Portsmouth and Newbury . Sally has taken part in the Catalyst Exhibition - Portsmouth, for the last six years. This is a group of artists researching into the relationships between art and science in our daily lives; founded in 1995 by a group of women in Portsmouth specifically for the celebration of International Women's Day, March 8th.
Sally has worked with two doctors who were based at UCH London. They were researching to pinpoint the area of activity (localisation of the epileptical focus) so that it could be used for surgery in temporal lobe epilepsy.
She has also worked from the group of dancers 'The Dance Movement' who were rehearsing for UK Rocks premier; as well as performance artists 'Leikin Loppu'. Exhibited drawings and further digitised drawings are a result of these collaborations.
Sally has taught art at Newbury College and worked as a teacher in many local schools in the past as well as participating with schools as a full time practicing artist.
In 2002 Sally under took a residency at 3 southern hospitals, which is culminating in a touring exhibition - for details
