| These simple arrangements of bottles (and vessels of sustenance) allow me to explore and celebrate colour, light and line, using these humble objects of ritual. As within our daily lives, there is constant change and movement to these still life arrangements, and I aim, not to record a stationary moment, but to refine and pare down these transient observations; evoking an echo of our existence, a residue left behind. |

My work continues to engage with forms that symbolise nature, but whilst bottles and vessels remain a recurrent and important motif for me, I have also been exploring the richness of 'Mother Earth', since visiting Australia's red centre. I have also been fortunate to be able to work with Cecilia Hall, which has provided us both with the stimulus to experiment further in printmaking, subsequently exhibiting with her in her own studio this year.
