 Newbury Camera Club
Newbury Camera Club is a member of the Southern Photographic Federation. They meet weekly, throughout the year, with both a winter and summer season. During the winter season they have a selection of excellent speakers who describe their personal areas of photographic expertise. They also hold internal and external photographic competitions. During the summer season, the meetings are less formal and focus on topical areas of photography and on photographic technique.
The club meets every Thursday evening, starting at 7:30pm and finishing at about 10:00pm, at Shaw Social Club, Almond Avenue, Shaw, Newbury. Prospective members, both beginners and experienced photographers, are always welcome to go along and see what the club is all about. After up to three such visits prospective members are invited to join the club.
