Following the success of last year’s Scurrilous, A Class Act return with a brand new version of David Slade’s The Third Tunnel.

The Blitz is at full strength and half of London is sheltering in the London Underground accept for Alby, a local wise cracking cockney, who, not only loses his clothes, his house and his flaming dignity during an air strike he also ends up with his backside laced like a football after being mistaken for a looter by his neighbour’s dog during another.

Charlie and Winnie are sheltering down the tube when they meet Connie and Alice two of Londons Socialites can Connie change Charlie is he really a conscientious objector? Ralph a typical East End Spiv loves a scam and has his eye on the local coppers wife, with the help of some London Street kids he gets what he wants but the children nearly lose their life’s, when everything goes off in The Third Tunnel.

Harp Concert - Robin Ward
St. George the Martyr, Andover Road, Wash Common, Newbury

International harpist, Robin Ward, will be performing a programme that is an exploration of music, played on his own handcrafted triple harp. Robin’s programmes include a wide variety of music from the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods, as well as music from Folk Traditions, with a combination of Robin's own transcriptions and music originally written for the instrument.

20th Anniversary Concert

Parenthesis Choir is a registered charity founded 20 years ago by parents of children attending Berkshire Young Musicians and our members come from all over Berkshire.

We are celebrating our 20th anniversary by holding a special concert to include Haydn's Imperial "Nelson" Mass and 12 of our favourite songs performed over the years. If you would like to join our celebration tickets cost £10 each and children are free.
