Meetings With Remarkable Blues MenArlington Arts presents:
Meetings With Remarkable Blues Men
Arlington Arts Centre, Mary Hare, Newbury

Two legendary UK performers talk about the incredible men they have had the honour of working with and playing the songs that keep their spirits alive - Bob Hall and Dave Peabody.

Multi-award-winners Bob Hall (piano, mandolin, vocals) and Dave Peabody (guitar, harmonica, vocals) travelled thousands of miles with John Lee Hooker, Howlin' Wolf, Honeyboy Edwards, Charlie Musselwhite and a host of other legends, giving them a unique insight into the blues.

Today Hall and Peabody are the foremost UK exponents of traditional blues styles. In Meetings with Remarkable (Blues) Men they perform the music and tell stories of their travels, some poignant, some hilarious, but all from personal experience.

Dave Peabody is also a creative photographer with an international reputation. Meeting With Remarkable (Blues) Men is accompanied by an exhibition of Dave's evocative photos depicting some of the bluesmen featured in the show.
