 The Corn Exchange presents:
Stewart Lee
Corn Exchange, Newbury
Writer, director and comedian, Stewart Lee returns to the live circuit with a new show, which begins in a high street coffee chain and ends in a pear cider that is 100% disappointment.
Expect some punchy stuff near the top, inexplicable hostility towards relatively innocuous figures, silences and repetition, sudden and/or gradual shifts in tone, velocity and volume, the possibility of failure and a quasi-serious bit at the end. This tour follows his acclaimed BBC TV series Stewart Lee’s Comedy Vehicle.
