| This year, alongside my raku work and tiles, I started making totems. The idea of a totem fascinates me, tall poles on which you can Telephone:tell stories, represent nature or simply decorate with bright colours. These stand four or five feet high; some are trees such as cherry or apple, some are symbolic with sea, earth and sky. They are fun, whacky - to be seen in the garden surrounded by plants. |
