The emphasis on my work is now sculptural in character. My intention by using a personal handbuilding method, is to construct forms which have wider implications beyond the immediate appearance of the objects themselves. Work in numerous public collections including the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. Principle exhibiting gallery is the Berkeley Square Gallery, London. A fully illustrated book Geoffrey Eastop - A Potter in Practice, is available at the studio or by post.

The need for me to make a piece of work originates from a sometimes unclear idea or feeling. The problem which has to be solved then becomes a matter of handling clay in a specific manner to give the idea material expression. Work in numerous public collections including Victoria and Albert Museum London and Fitzwilliam Museum Cambridge. Principal exhibiting gallery Berkeley Square Gallery, London.
