Newbury Poets Workshop
The Newbury Poets' Workshops meets in the Stone Building on the Wharf, Newbury, on Monday evenings at 7:45pm - except on national holidays or special events.
They are primarily a group of writers who meet to read, share and discuss their own poetry. From time to time they read their work in public. There are members who have written for several years and others with less experience.
Some evenings are spent reading classical or contemporary poetry, and individual poets are often chosen for these occasions.
