The National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) was founded in 1899 "to protect and advance the interests of Operatic and Dramatic Art, and of Societies engaged therein."

Vocalist.co.uk's mission is to empower and inform singers of all ages, amateur and professional, at all stages of your musical journey. We give free access to resources, products and services relevant to singers, and provide support and opportunities to network via the Green Room Noticeboard and advice page.

English National Opera is Britain's only full-time repertory opera company. They have an international reputation for artistic excellence. The singers, conductors, directors, designers and musicians who work with them are among the best in the world and they nurture the operatic stars of the future. Their aim is to present music theatre at its most compelling and dynamic.

Scottish Opera is based in Glasgow at the Theatre Royal, in offices at 39 Elmbank Crescent and at the new Eddington Street Technical Centre. Scottish Opera employs over two hundred people including a full-time chorus, full-time orchestra, technical and stage management staff, administrative staff, production staff, music staff and staff at the Theatre Royal.

Founded in 1989, Mid Wales Opera has rapidly become one of Britain's most successful opera companies and has received many prestigious awards. The Annual Festival of Opera at Theatre Hafren, Newtown, Powys, attracts a large and enthusiastic audience from throughout Great Britain. Following the Festival, Mid Wales Opera undertakes a nationwide tour of England and Wales.

Opera della Luna is a chamber opera company which tours throughout the UK, producing a wide variety of works in English.

The Welsh National Opera exists to produce, perform and tour thrilling and entertaining world-class opera.

The Royal Opera House is one of the world's great lyric theatres. Home to three international companies - The Royal Ballet, The Royal Opera and the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House - it is a centre of international excellence, a focal point of European and domestic artistic life, a place where past, present and future collide and mingle.

Opera North has established itself as one of the leading arts companies in the United Kingdom and one of the most imaginative opera companies in Europe. The Company is committed to bringing a wide variety of high quality work to established audiences for one of the most exciting art forms in Britain today.

Founded in 1934 by John Christie and his wife the singer Audrey Mildmay, the Glyndebourne Festival's first Artistic Directors were the conductor Fritz Busch and the director Carl Ebert. Except during the war, performances of the highest international standard have continued to be given every summer in the opera house built by the Christies on their country estate in Sussex, some 50 miles south of London. For the first four seasons, the repertoire was confined to the works of Mozart, but it has broadened over the years and operas from the earliest baroque to modern works are now performed.

Capital Opera is a London-based professional opera company offering sung entertainment for public, private, charity and corporate occasions. Their wide repertoire includes full-length operas; concerts of opera selections; songs from the shows; popular jazz standards, songs from the Jewish tradition.

Opera Holland Park was formed in 1996 as the resident company at The Holland Park Theatre. Since then it has produced over twenty-five operas, bringing into its repertoire, to great acclaim, rare and unusual works. It continues to produce all of the productions at the theatre, combining the popular with the less well known. The venue enjoys a reputation for informality and moderate pricing.
